HULA WOMAN
5 ft. Diameter – Wool, Silk and Velvet on Irish Linen
The deep rich colors of Hawaii are reflected in this image of a woman dancing on the beach at sunset. Sharon pulled fine strips of the sunset wool through the waves so they shimmer with the setting sun. She created the smoky, night sky by hand dyeing nine different fabrics, then cutting and hooking them artfully together.

THE PASSIONATE PEACOCK
8 ft. Diameter - Wool and Specialty Fabrics on Scottish Burlap
The artist chose passionate colors for her vibrant Peacock, making it "a delight to hook" . The specialty fabrics create a sparkle that catch the light at night. Others give the illusion of feathers. It is lovely to walk upon and invites the viewer to get down on their knees to see all the fabulous detail. Peacocks roam the hills behind Sharon's Maui home, and are the object of awesome wonder, the world over. As usual this work of art is a one of a kind creation, that will bring pleasure for years to come.

The “Garden Pond” was created to bring the garden into the home. Maui, garden pond was the natural inspiration for this richly hued, circular rug.

MAUI WATERS
4ft. x 6ft. – Wool on Scottish Burlap
Sharon worked with an interior designer to create this piece of floor art as the focal point for an intimate, ocean front, condominium. The owners envisioned whales, sea turtles and dolphins and their designer provided fabric samples, color swatches and tiles to ensure color and texture precision.

Jillian commissioned this circular rug for a specific room in their home. Sharon
Faith captured the depth and flowing movement of the ocean. The realistic
colors used for the dolphins and turtle makes them beautifully textured and
dimensional in the design. The uplifting energy of the sunrise is seen peaking
out from behind the island of Maui. Sharon selected colors from the pallet
given her and reflected them in this peaceful and joyful Fiber Art Rug.

"The Rug Sharon made for us is more than magical!
I gave Sharon a tiny paint swatch for the color of the room it would go
in and told her the items I wanted in the rug (Dolphins, Turtle, Aloha,
Plumeria and Hibiscus) and she came up with this fabulous design where
the dolphins were actually jumping out of the rug and even captured Maui
with a sunrise. The colors match perfectly to the decor. It is a true labor
of love that we will always cherish."
